How can I tell when I need the service?

Signs of brake failure and distress are easy to spot while driving. Typical symptoms may include:

·         Illumination of a braking system warning light.

·         Unusual noises like grinding and squealing upon braking. Some brake pad manufacturers design their products to create a high-pitched noise when the pads wear thin.

·         A brake pedal which can be pushed nearly to the floor to stop your car.

·         Pulling of your car to one side upon braking.

·         A bumping sensation while braking.

FAQ

What is the recommended maintenence schedule?

Generally you should check your brakes inspected every year or 20,000 Miles which ever comes first.

How long will it take?

Most brake service can be completed the same day while you wait.

Do I need to make an appointment?

Appointments are not necessary but may expedite service for your convenience.

Are there any driveability concerns?

Potentially Hazardous Driving Conditions

Driving without properly serviced brakes exposes you and your passengers to potentially fatal accidents on the road.

Increased Cost

By ignoring the first signs of brake failure signals, such as light squealing or grinding noises, or your brake pedal skipping or coming into slightly closer contact with the floor of the car, you may be wearing down your brake pads to the point which it will place irreparable strain on the drum/rotors. Taking care of the symptoms much earlier may not only keep you out of harm's way on the road but can also save you from incurring additional cost to replace the drum/rotors.
